The logistics sector in India is reforming as a major revolution with the inception of National Logistics Policy (NLP) in 2022 that is backed by the PM Gati Shakti Master Plan. The NLP is centred on digitalizing supply chains, with a greater emphasis on supply chain management and digital systems, processes and skill development than on physical infrastructure, such as highways, ports and other connections, as the Gati Shakti initiative does.
